Times are a changing!




Here's a piece I did this week for The Weekly Standard. Started yesterday morning and finished this afternoon. It was a quick turnaround and I had two people to paint, so I decided to do a monochromatic painting first and then add a pinch of color to finish it off.

Thanks for showing your process Jason. No way getting around strong drawing skills and you've got that covered in spades. I think the art direction on this piece deserves a toot of the horn. Fake halos for both.. now that's telling the truth.
