New Self Portrait!

I did this late Tuesday night . . . oh wait, I guess early Wednesday morning . . . I had a bit of fun, maybe it was because I was rock N' out to The Who? Who knows?

For some reason, I find caricaturists are often very good at doing self-portraits... this is no exception! Great design sense here.

Okay, Jason, that's it. It's time you came clean to the world. You have a tube of paint with a genie trapped inside, right?
And whenever you remove the cap, he has has to grant you a wish?
That has to be it -- because your talent is supernatural!

Wow Jason! its so poetic, there's so much your saying with the design and lighting of the painting. I love it! Congrats bro!

it could use some more warm colours i think..as in the reds in the ears.. or some warm shadows in the shirt.. just my opinion, its a great self portait btw. to bad we dont see your face, as it should be in a selfportrait ;)

That big ol' hat can't hide the artist for long! A brooding portrait with a hint of an enigmatic smile, lovelly deliberate unfinished strokes at the bottom-who needs shirt tails anyway? Great stuff!
